Pepsi now has its own Android Smartphone:
Recently there were rumors about Pepsi Cola International that it may be bringing an Android Smartphone in the smartphone industry. Now it’s official; Pepsi Cola International launched their first smartphone. Pepsi Phone P1 is a mid-ranger with a metallic body design. It also has a Fingerprint sensor and has 4G LTE support too. The phone has 2GB RAM and is powered by 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 Octa Core processor. It has 5.5″ 1080p 2.5D Display. 2.5D display mean that it has a curved glass from the edges which feel like it is dimensional. There is a 13MP rear Camera and 5MP front facing shooter. The smartphone has a 3000mAh battery which is great at this price tag. The smartphone has a metallic design.
Pepsi Phone P1:
It’s running on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop with an optimized version of it as Dido OS 6.1. This phone also has 16GB internal storage which can be expandable via Micro SD slot. The price of this phone varies with region. The early units had a price tag of $78, and they all are sold out. Next builds will have the price of $100 and $150. There are unique units for China available for $200.
The phone is named after the company, and they are calling it “Pepsi Phone P1.” It looks like that company is aiming for another version of this smartphone too. Pepsi may come up with another version of this smartphone if they can sell a good number of these smartphones.
